After breast cancer surgery, the decision for radiotherapy is evaluated by radiation oncology considering the size of the breast cancer, spread to lymph nodes, localization of the cancer, and the patient's personal factors.
If surgery involving the removal of lymph nodes under the arm has been chosen, arm exercises are recommended to the patient after the surgery. Additionally, if chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments are required after breast cancer surgery, the patient can gradually start with simple exercises and resume normal exercise routines after completing these treatments.
